In addition to five offices for faculty, a physics library, a student work/study room, a computer lab, and department technician room, there are five teaching laboratories: Advanced Lab, Modern Physics Lab, General Physics Lab, and a General Science Lab. Research facilities include the Particle Physics Lab, the Numerical Physics Lab, the Nanotrbiology Lab, and the Astrophysics Lab.

Astronomy and astrophysics have two special facilities: a Spitz planetarium in Valders Hall of Science and an astronomical observing facility on the roof of Valders Hall. Equipment for astrophysics includes a 10-inch Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and photoelectric photometer, a 14-inch Newtonian reflector, an 8-inch Celestron telescope, a 3.5-inch Questar telescope, cameras, photoelectric photometer, and spectroscope.
